Tap @ the brewpub. Slightly unclear golden body under a nice, dense white head. Aroma has malt, citric fruit and a piny touch. Unfortunately, there is also a little hint of something in the area of diacetyl, but not to dominant. Taste is medium sweet malt, biscuit, citric fruit, nice bitterness and a hint of pine. Also, in taste there is a slightly off flavor here, but it’s not really very pronounced. Balanced body and nice aftertaste. All in all a pretty decent, no nonsense IPA in the crossing between west coast and British IPA.

On tap at the brewpub. It's a lightly hazy golden colored beer with a nice carbonation leaving a creamy finger thick off-white head. Sexy lacing. The aroma has a touch of something in the border areas of diacetyl and DMS, but it's mostly on the fruity side. Lightly piney, with a citrus zest hint. Notes of caramel, bread and freshly mown grass. A very gentle touch of strawberry too, as the beer warms slightly. It's full bodied, soft and nicely carbonated. Creamy actually, and semi sweet. Light bitterness. The flavor has a faint hint of diacetyl, but fruity flavors dominate. Some caramel, with bready pale malts. A hint of lime juice chimes in towards the very end. A bit unclean this one, and too gentle all the way for my liking. 240313
