Draught, 6.7 % abv, at Bryggerifestivalen 2024, served at Homborsund's stand. Covering beige head, scattered lacing, near-black in the glass. Inviting on the nose with roasted chocolate malts, earthy. Caramel-chocolate flavours, oaky. Roasted malty ending. Straightforward porter, pretty nice. (Trondheim, 01.08.2024).

Tap @ Håntverkeren. Clear dark brown, almost black body under a small, dense beige head making lacings down the glass. Aroma fees a bit weak, but that’s probably due to the serving temperature that’s way too cold. Medium roasted, dark malt with a hint of coffee. Taste is medium sweet, dark, soft roasted malt, hint of toffee/chocolate with balanced bitterness and then some unexpected kind of sourness that could be found in heavily roasted stouts but could also be some lactic acid bacteria going astray. Don’t know and its not to offensive in this case. Medium body with a fine, dry finish. A very promising kind of old school porter, but doesn't quite match the expectations this time.

On tap at Håndverkeren. A black to dark brown beer with a creamy finger thick dark beige head. Roasted and burnt malts, diacetyl and some licorice and dark chocolate in the aroma. It's smooth and creamy ok the palate, not too sweet, with some bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, some burnt notes, toffee and/or diacetyl in the flavor. Dark dried fruit in the back. Lasting finish. Too much on the diacetyl side this one, else it's promising. 240209
