Tasted ten years ago in Venice, but never found this on the Belgian market. Apparently made by Huyghe now but I swear the label said Sterkens. A strong, peach blonde beer with a mainly fruity character (apple), malt sweetness and restrained hoppiness in the finish; on the bland side.

75 cl bottle. Dark yellow color, hazed with lots of sediment. Short white head, short lived, fizzy. Glucose on the nose. Aroma is glucose syrup with apricot, some grains and belgian style yeast. Sweetish with a faint bitterness, sugary sharply dry finish. Meh, quite average and unimpressive.

Bottle @ Berlin/Bavaria Tasting, Odense. Pours clear yellow with a spritzy collapsing white head. Nose is strong of yeast, fruit and alcohol. Vaguely metallic and quite alcoholic. Warmth . . .

Bottled(330ml). -Pours a cloudy golden colour with big white head and wheaty acidic nose. The aroma is malty, wheaty and mild yeasty with light spicy notes. Quite thin for 8%. Sediment is floating within the glass.
