Vågsbygd. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma and flavor is caramel, sugar, pine, dried fruit, roasted malt, coffee, licorice.

440ml can, batch nr. 522, 9.0 % abv., bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord. A deep mahogany coloured body under a fawn-coloured head, scattered lacing. Inviting brown malty aromas, mid-dry and mid-sweet. Mixed brown malty flavours of nutty caramel, oats, raisin and a syrup note. Mid-dry caramel ending, slightly roasted. Distant traces of bourbon. Likeable bock version. (Bodø Panorama, 29.11.2024

Dark amber with off white head - Dark malt aroma with some wood barrel - Malt body with woods barrel flavours and some dark fruity hints - Malt and wood barrel flavours goes into the finish - This was nice

Can. A clear dark brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is quite vegetal, with alcohol, dark dried fruit, some caramel and rye bread. Turpentine. It’s full-bodied and warming, nicely carbonated, with a good dash of sweetness. Higher alcohol, cooked vegetables, dark dried fruit, caramel, rye bread and hints of licorice in the flavor. Lasting finish. Not very pleasant this one. 231125

0,44 boks fra julenissens verksted i Bergen Storsenter, hos Håkon: vakker, mørk kastanjebrun med kort bruseskum. Nydelig duft og deilig smak av karamellsjokolader, knekk, mørk kandis, vanilje og bourbon. Overraskende slank maltkropp og mild bitterhet uten at det blir for søtt. Ettersmaken er også slank med et hint av Freia melkesjokolade.
