Taster from bottle at Binny’s, Downers Grove. Fruity smell, nice amber color, a bit cloudy. Large bit of foam from this tiny sample. Taste again is fruity. Very nice, about all I can say about it. Excellent version of this style, why I’m rating it up.

500ml bottle. Hazy orange-brown with a thin, creamy off-white head. Light to medium bodied, very sessionable as advertised. Toasty, biscuity malt tones, with a touch of caramel, toffee. Balanced by a soapy hop balance. Kind of boring and watery, one dimensional. Not bad, just bland.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy amber with a smallish off-white head. The nose has sweet caramel and a little nuts. Light body, fruit - a hint of pineapple - vaguely nutty. No real bitterness. Extremely quaffable, but thin indeed. 090810

2012-07-08, cask at Wellington, Birmingham, 5-4-6-3-11=29
Amber color, creamy head. Simple aroma, some white sugar smell. Smooth mouthfeel, with very simple caramel flavor, traces of stale bread, and medium-low bitterness; it has a very light trace of soil too.
Too simple.

Hazy copper color. It’s dark colored dirty water, with a metallic smell, weak mouthfeel, dry and light caramel flavor, ordinary bitterness.
