The label and brand name were designed by Michael Plank’s mom. She knew her sons' Grandpa very very well: “He was as crazy as myself and his grandson Michi {17th generation}. He never believed in “conventional wisdom”. He always wanted to go his own way. Always looking for new innovative recipes and ideas. New flavors and aromas. The color “pink” perfectly matches his mindset.”

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours gold with a monstrous foamy white head that collapsed rapidly while bubbles expanded. Aroma of pear and citrus. Arguably med body. Flavor is pear, citrus and blank currents. Not getting yeast but there is some spice. Quite different and very tasty.

Can from Gourmet Haus. Solid Weissbier all around. A bit reserved on spicy and fruity esters for style, but nice.

Can from Frankford Hall: pours mostly clear with white head. Aroma is hefty clove with some banana notes. Taste is spicy tang, somewhat sweet. It is fine.

Floral banana, orange, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with nice head. Moderately sweet banana, orange, clove, wheat malt, and very mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Bonus that it's not oxidized at all.

Undated can drunk 9/30/24. Top pour, not swirled is only minimally cloudy. But still shows a massive, creamy white head atop a blonde-brass body. Been soooo long since I've had a Plank but the memory of them has stuck with me. Just a classy, almost vinous nose I recall, and indeed, here it is. Lovely pepper, mild clove, mild banana, bit of vanilla and lots of honey and nutty wheat. No crude phenols/esters. Classy. Very aromatic. Vanilla bean, or vanilla ice cream...something like that. Heavily nutty, rustic wheat. Not getting the suggested Ariana hop notes, but that's ok, this is peak Hefe. Swirling the can gives us more yeast, though still not a ton. The flavor turns to a more lemony, almost tropical character. Must be the hop acids have bonded to the yeast (or just sunk to the bottom). Whatever the case, the swirled beer is even classier, with elegant, far-from-overdone hops. Just a creamy, wheaty, lemon, honey and gently tropical hefe that remains clean and elegant with excellent depth/texture and attenuation.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a hazy, clearish silver gold with a full two fingers of off-white foam that lingers. Lemon meringue, banana cream and clove aromas on the nose. Palate is similar. Very refreshing, easy drinking. Not overly heavy or cloying. Solid weissbier.
