Bottle at La Cubanita, Utrecht. Aroma is grainy malt and cereal, bit of an adjunct element to it. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Pretty standard ’island lager’ from De Meern, Utrecht.

Bottle @ La Cubanita Eindhoven. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, mainly lime because a slice of it was stuck down the neck of the bottle, a little sweetish. Oh well it’s nice enough with the tapas at the restaurant.

Bottle at La Cubanita, Haarlem. Thought I had a country tick here. Pale golden colour. Drunk from the bottle. Aroma of the lemon wedge stuck in the bottle, somewhat floral, light malty. Flavour is light, light malty, floral, honey, corn, light bitterness, hint of lemon. Light bodied. Went well with the tapas.

Gedronken tijdens etentje, besteld door Rico. Paar slokken van gehad maar had dat beter niet kunnen doen, werkelijk wat een CRAP. Het spul mocht zeker niets kosten. Smerig waterige troep.

Clear pale yellow colour, no head (but that last fact might be connected with the fact it’s served with a lemon). Seems to be bottle-in-hand concept. Light malty aroma. Dito flavour. Watery. Crappy pale lager, clear bottle, pretending to be Caribbean, and brewed by De Leckere? Volksverlakkelarij and I expected more from that brewery.
