Pretty enjoyable. Has a nice hop quality to it. Ashy roast, bitter cocoa, earth, pine, oily orange peel. Rather drinkable.

(Cask at the brewery taproom, 20250609) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had pine, toasted malts and mild citrus notes. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were pine, toasted malts, dark bread, citrus fruits and bitterness. Aftertaste had pine, toasted malts and bitterness. A nice blend of malty brew and intense hops.

Cask at the Golden Eagle, Lincoln. Deep cola colour with a white head. Malty caramel and slight fruity. Medium body.
