Brown ale bodied but with easy drinkability. Taste of hazelnut, coffee and vanilla. It offers wide pairings with various types of food and of course listening to Marky Ramone's music

Bottle. Chocolate malt and straw aroma. Medium brown with small head. Sweet light chocolate malt and very lightly bitter herbal flavor. Watery palate. Nothing bad just very light.

Bottle: Pours almost clear, medium brown-amber with a thich, craggy, tan head. Caramel, lightly nutty aroma. Slightly spicy, herbal hops, caramel malt, wood taste... Not bad...but weak and too light in the body. Probably a lenient rating due to the label and name...this empty bottle goes up on the archive shelf....I’m a sucker for cultural tie-ins.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 10C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 508. AROMA: DMS present with roasted background and some malty sweet notes. faint esters and very low to none hop aromas. APPEARANCE: brown color with some orangish hue and hazy. very thin tanned head with low retention. TASTE: low malty background with some roasted notes and a citric hop note. medium bitterness that lingers into a medium-dry finish. PALATE: thin body with low carbonation. OVERALL: a Brown ale that lacks malt complexity and sweetness and body.
