On tap at Tamboré shopping. Was expecting a real mess but i’d say this was not bad. Yellow color with a creamy white head. Flat on the nose and quite dull on the aroma, reminded me of Heineken. I mean, this is not a bad one, more or less industry standard and plain average almost for what Brazil is concerned. Some grainy tones with macro lager feel, soft, moderate carbonation, easy to drink... pretty straightforward and simple, a plain "chopp".

Bottle from Half Time. Pours gold with a creamy, foamy white head. Aroma is lightly bready with something like a wet cotton cloth. Med minus body. It’s lightly sweet, and there’s something like earthy bitter. Kind of light toffee with something bitter added. I think it gets a little better with each quaff. It’s certainly drinkable. Just not all that pleasant.

Tried it on vacation in the Dominican Republic, served in a plastic cup. Not a very good lager.

Generally a foul beer. In Brazil they usually need to serve next to frozen to mask the ill flavoured aftertaste. But then again, it’s not like you have much to hope for with the Brazilian macros

Crystal clear coloured body with tons of bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of wheat, malt and fruits. Medium-bodied; Full malt taste with some wheat noticeable as well. Cardboard and little else picked up in the taste too. Aftertaste clean and malty - not much else going on, although there is NO funky tastes at all. Overall, cool to try - not horrible, but...same old lager...different beer! I sampled this 33 cL can for free at the United Red Carpet club in Sao Paulo, Brazil on 18 August 2006.
