Bottle from the brewery. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are tart apple and some wine. Crisp tart to sour fruity. Light body.

Keg @ Bailey Head, Oswestry. Like the First Blend, this seems to have been on for some time, so wasn't quite in peak condition. Listed under the lambic section of the beer menu, pump clip says BA Cider, but brewer website says it's a blend of wild beer and cider. Bit confusing. Pours a dull misty amber with an off-putting sparse, patchy cream head atop. Butterscotch / toffee notes come through well, mingling with a mild wild character, some aged oaky cider notes nestled underneath but lacks a vibrant clarity of flavour. Ok. Shame was looking forward to trying this and Vol I but left feel I could've got more of an impact from bottle.
