Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 1st April 2025. Deep, solid sepia with pale tan foam and spot lacing. Roasty malts and sour hints in aroma. Sour cherry, roasty malts and a few leafy hop notes in-mouth. Berries dominate the finish. A smooth mouthfeel and a light body.

Can ordered from Ghost Whale. Aroma combines cacao and malts with a tangy berry edge. Admittedly the latter is less distinct. Dark and inky. Thick foamy beige head. Medium bitter. Cacao and coffee and charcoal. Underlying malts. Develops a tangy berry streak. Light. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Punchy mild... more of a Session Porter perhaps.
