Keg @ The Rake, London.
Poured dark brown in color, off white head.
Nicely roasted malty brew. Citrusy hops. Full bodied, some licorice as well. Flavourful.

Can at home picked up from Craft Metropolis, An opaue black mahognay brown coloured pour with a lasting khaki head sticky head. Aroma is nice big sticky tar, resinous pine, Douglas fur, dark roast. Flavour is composed of really sticky resin, weed resin, tar, harsh bitterness, pine sap, some ashy roast. Lingering bitter roast, pine sap, resin, tar. Super robust.

Can shared by and with Grumbo with ITFCDan. Aroma of pine, treacle, malt loaf, roasted malts and biscuit. Taste is nice dry and bitter. One of the best BIPA I have had.

29/6/2024. Can from The Vic, Colchester. Shared at Gorzow GP. Pours slightly hazy dark brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, citrus, tropical, piney, caramel, ash, yeast. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness, touch tart. Medium to full body, creamy, average carbonation. Lovely bitterness. Very good indeed.

On tap at Elusive Taproom, Finchampstead, Berks. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a decent beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, pine, grapefruit taste and aroma. A quality black IPA with a pleasing bitterness from Elusive Brewing.
Resinous, roasty and bitter. Very good.
