This is a classically-styled West Coast Black IPA. Simcoe, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to deliver a resinous profile with a citrus undertone. The bitterness helps to balance the light caramel and roastiness of the malts.

Can shared by and with Grumbo with ITFCDan. Aroma of pine, treacle, malt loaf, roasted malts and biscuit. Taste is nice dry and bitter. One of the best BIPA I have had.

29/6/2024. Can from The Vic, Colchester. Shared at Gorzow GP. Pours slightly hazy dark brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, citrus, tropical, piney, caramel, ash, yeast. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness, touch tart. Medium to full body, creamy, average carbonation.
