McCool is our take on a dry stout. Pouring an almost opaque black, a moderate bitterness and full creamy body support the six different malts in this complex, malt forward beer with flavours and aromas of coffee, chocolate, burnt caramel and toast.

Draft sample @ Exale taproom.
Brune foncée, quais noire, col léger blanc-cassé.
Arôme sur un bouquet malté, caramel oscillant sur le sucre caramélisé effet toffee, grillé, café avec un agréable rétro-nasal de chocolat. Amertume délicate en rétro-nasal.
Palais est finement malté, effet un peu coffee cold brew avec une pointe de chocolat noir, touche d'espresso / café au lait voire d'un délicat moka. Petite note de rootbeer en retrait avec une agrébale amertume en balance.

Black beer, tan head, light malty aroma. Flavour is malty, a little chocolate, some hops. Decent, very sessionable.

On keg at Shilling. Appearance - solid mat black. Crema head. Nose - chocolate, honeycomb and toffee. Taste - honeycomb, smoke and coffee. Palate - medium bodied, roasty finish. Overall - quite enjoyable.

Draft At BeerHeadZ, Lincoln. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty dry. Slight over gassy body.
