Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Dark mahogany, translucent with a small khaki head. Chocolate, sweet oats, a bit of cola in the aroma. Taste is bittersweet with lots of chocolate notes, more cola, a bit of an odd balance. Perhaps even some sourness in the finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Not for me really this one, but it is OK.

Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a reddish hue. The aroma is roasty malt, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, liqourice, earthy, chocolate, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
