Super Juicy Golden Sour
Brewed with Scottish malted barley, wheat and rolled oats. Primary fermented with a mixed culture including a blend of Brettanomyces strains isolated from Belgian Lambic producers. This base beer showcases the intense yeast character without additions of fruit or hops, providing heaps of passionfruit, papaya, candied pineapple and apricot flavours.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - hazy yellow with very gentle carbonation. No head.
Nose - candied ginger and dried orange. Soft wood and brown sugar.
Taste - still getting ginger, fresh pineapple and orange too.
Palate - spicy dried fruit nose but much fresher on the taste. Refreshing acidity, good linger. Medium bodied.
Overall - very good indeed!

375ml bottle via the online shop. 2025 version at 6.4%. Hazed pale gold. Slim white foam. Nose has loads of fruit to the point you’d think it was fruited. Peach and a ton of mango. Bit of ripe strawberry. Some vanilla. Impressive yeast character here. Taste has some significant sweetness turning light tart and light bitter. Very easy drinking with a whisper of acidity. Fruity juicy finish. Class.

On tap at Muted Horn, Berlin. Shared with little Dina. Hazy yellow-golden, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately to intensely yeasty, fruity, estery, tropical, pineapple and pear. Soft passion fruit, lemon or lime notes. Spicy and funky, peppery. Zest. Floral hints, elderflower. Quite complex. Light body, smooth, drinkable, high carbonation, effervescent. Moderately to heavily sour. Very fruity, lemony, rhubarb, pineapple, some candy. Some sweetness. Peppery bitterness. Hints of malts. Quite unique.
