A high gravity beer, brewed to lift the spirits. To be enjoyed in the warmth of the indoors whilst the cold surrounds us. This figgy, sweet number is in the traditional mould, with US Cluster and English East Kent Goldings to add notes of spice and stone fruit.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Real Ale Festival 2023. Pours an unclear pale gold, white head. Certainly a lot paler than I was expecting from a barley wine, and not really very rich or sweet either. Floral aroma, flavour profile has mild stonefruit, earthy flora. Not quite what I would associate with a barley wine. Odd.

By eck that’s a big boy! Slightly hazy orange gold with a small frothy white head. Boozy, sweet, with semi-sherry vibes and fruit. Not my kind of thing if I'm honest, but can see its merits to some

24/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma is malty, toffee, fruity, boozy, stone fruits. Medium sweetness, developing, with medium bitterness. Quite thick and full bodied with soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Cask at the Peterborough Beer Festival 2023. Light hazed golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are big citrus and sweet. Medium body.

Can at drury St. Pours pale golden amber, nose is caramel, banana, citrus, taste is sweet, fruity, marzipan, floral.
