Cask pint at The Justice Mill In Aberdeen, keenly priced at £2.71 a pint. It pours darkest brown to black with a handsome tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, toasty, coffee grounds, salted caramel, cacao nibs and some toasted fruit cake. The taste is dry, pleasing and lingering bitterness, toasty, slightly charred, bitter - sweet dark chocolate, salted caramel, freshly made coffee, varnished oak, light tannin, dried fruits, toasted fruit cake and dull soapy citrus with bitter, roasty finish. Flavourful and satisfying. Orkney on cask rarely disappoints.
