23/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours almost clear straw gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is husky, citrus, hops, straw, malt. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Watery. Not a festival highlight.

Cask, handpump at The Victory, Hereford following the late cancellation of the Hereford ?Beer on the Wye, Beer Festival?, Hereford Rowing Club, Herefordshire Saturday 7th July 2012 Pours golden with a wispy, filmy white head and good clarity. Not too disimilar to the Wye Valley Flower Power just sampled in many respects possibly less sweet and with a dryer edge and slightly more bitter. Good bittersweet light fruity beer with a pleasant bite, drying towards end and with a middling bitterness. Not a bad beer at all. Up until now Wye Valley Flower Power was the best beer if the day but now this I think just surpasses it. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
