Cask at the King's Head, Stamford. Almost clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth mellow dark malts, a mild but pleasing chocolate character. Good fruity plummy fruits on the back end. Finishes smooth and semi dry with all flavours coming together. Nice light stout.

23/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear dark maroon brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, ash, coffee, roasted malt, caramel. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Nice.

Cask at the Peterborough BF 2023. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty light roasted chocolate. Slight thin body.
