Draught @ Væskebalancen Bar. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of light sourness, little malt, tart berries, blackcurrant, light coffee. Flavor is light sour, light malt, tart red berries, blackcurrant, coffee. Medium body, average carbonation, light acidic finish. 040524

Tap @ Væskebalancen, Aarhus. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich blackcurrant, roast malt, chocolate, hops and lactose acid. Nice sour finish.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is jammy sour blackcurrant, coffee and roast. Taste has sour roast and blackcurrant throughout with some coffee on the finish.

Can at home. Deep chocolate brown colour with a tan head. Malty chocolate and slight tart blackcurrant. Medium body.

Bitter blackcurrant. Very nice

Tight foamy tan head with a purple hue on a coca cola coloured body. Soy, demerara & smokey aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with tingle on the back & sharp aft. Herbal, aniseed, soya sauce, smoky & meaty tastes with a tangy sour cherry finish. Sounds weird but all goes together very well.

Black beer, head the colour of hot chocolate. Earthy malt and a little sweetness in the aroma. Flavour has blackcurrant, malt again, a little cocoa, something a little savoury too, along with something sort of floral. Not sure tart but it's a nice balance of notes from a dark beer vs the blackcurrant. Very drinkable.

Keg at Fierce. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is toasty, earthy roast, only mellow sourness, bramble, blackcurrant, some faintly medicinal about it, umami and light charcoal. The taste is initially dry, bitter - sweet, sweet - sour, umami, toasted malt, toasty, liquorice, bramble, blackcurrant, touch of fizzy cola bottles, D&B, earthy, woody and light tannin with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not as sour as the last batch, but balance works well. Moreish.
