From tap at Oproer, Utrecht. Aroma is fruity hops, orange, a bit herbal, bitterkoekjes. Flavour is harsh bitterness with some sweetness. Body is medium. Not very well-balanced and some odd notes in the aroma.

On tap at Oproer. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of grassy and herbal hops, flowers, malts, light fruity. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, floral, light herbal, herbal and grassy bitter finish with some floral lemony notes. Medium bodied, smooth, drinks way too easy for a 9% DIPA.

gedeeld met Benzai, Ceasar en Skortilla, tijdens openingsweekend van Oproer. van tap, oogt iets wazig geel/oranje met witte kraag. aroma komt fris en fruitig binnen, gras en citrus. smaken zijn licht zurig (fruitzuur), fris, licht bitter, stro, fruitig en wat grassig karakter. medium body. vond hem wat ingetogen voor een double/imperial ipa.

Tap @ Oproer, medium sample. Slight hazy yellow to golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of grassy and flowery hop, some grainy malt, bit sugary biscuit you get at grandma, harsh flowery. Quite harsh bitterness, plants, flowery, bit grainy malt, slight biscuity sweetness. Could be smoother and a bit more balanced.

Sampled from draught @ Oproer Brewpub. Hazy yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, decently fruity, lightly floral. Decently bitter, decent body and carbonation. Wouldn’t say it’s a double IPA at all. Solid IPA, but that’s it.
