Bottle @ Benzai’s crazy carnaval, small sample. BB 11 2016. Almost clear copper color, short head. Aroma of peat, iodine, some roast. Quite dry, peaty smoke, bit sour, sausage. Bit too much peat for me, but it smoothens a bit later on.

Bottle @ Don’t want anything to do with carnaval tasting. Hazy brownish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, iodine, band aid, peat, tar. Medium body and carbonation. Not my thing, but if you like these kind of whiskeys: go for it!

Bottle @ benzai’s carnaval. Brown colour with a ruby red glow shining through, small beige head. Smells peat, bandaid, roasty. Tastes peat, salmiakki, earthy, roasty. Full body, soft carbo.

fles van @MaartenRF10, bedankt Maarten !. schenkt bruin in met minimale kaki kraag. aroma van de turf komt je al snel tegemoet, verder hout, moutig en iets van lijm. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig bitter, donker fruit (pruim/rozijn), caramel, chocolade/mocca, hout, iets droog maar bovenal veel peated kenmerken van de Ledaig Whisky... redelijke body, glad van textuur, lage co2, ik moet zeggen dat ik in eerste instantie het turf achtige karakter iets teveel vond, maar naarmate het bier vordert valt het toch wel iets mee.. verder een erg interessant bier... ik wacht met spanning op de volgende edities ... --- Beer merged from original tick of Momfer De Mol Editie 1 (Ledaig) on 15 May 2018 at 16:10 - Score: 8
