--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear pale golden, small head. Faint worty nose. Sweetish with light body and clean mouthfeel, Fruity doughy worth, Slight bitterness. Less offensive than regular Tennent's, and a lot closer to tap water.

Thought I would treat myself.... Can from Tesco Danestone. It pours clear golden - amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is all about the grain, smells like being in the grain store.... cereal, nuttiness, pretty sweet and supermalt. The taste is firm and crisp upfront, snappy, touch of bitterness, grassy character, grain, cereal, biscuit, sweet malty drink and weak citrus rinse. Finish is dry and vaguely astringent. Light body and rather nice prickly carbonation. I drank this super chilled so it worked fine. Reminds me of a grain store / mash house. Honestly it drinks fine.
