0,33l bottle from Alko. Bottled 24112021, bbe 24112024. Almost black beer with small, beige head. Aroma and flavor is barrel, wood, whiskey, dark fruits, vanilla and caramel. Strong body,, quite heavy, very nice.

Opaque colour, tiny head. Sweetish, a bit smokey, whiskey nose. Full-bodied. Sweetish, somewhat alcoholic, good Highland Park character. Nice.

--Bottled at PBF XIV. -- Black, small head. Licorice meets elegant moderately peaty whisky up front. Very sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Sugared molasses, coffee and peppery Highland whisky. Warming mid bitter finish. The whisky really makes this beer.

Bottle@pbf XIV. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is toasted, some barrel, whisky and mild chocolaty tones. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, whisky, vanilla and quite burning sweet alcohol. Still very nice sipper.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 24.11.2026, at Black Door, 20220517) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, vanilla, smoke, whisky and dark chocolate. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, sweetness, wood, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste was ashy, woody, vineous and bitter. A tasty burnt brew with barrel effects.

Medium body, sweet, boozy. Roasty, a bit peaty, cocoa powder, licorice, a bit of tobacco. Strong and hot. A bit raw maybe still but very nice.
