The Mississauga Point lighthouse was the first lighthouse to shine on the Great Lakes. Built in 1804, this beacon of light was damaged in the War of 1812 and as legend has it, became part of the foundation for the tower of Fort Mississauga.

Our Brewmaster taps into that same fortitude to highlight this true lightweight powerhouse.

Not as light looking as most of this style, with some decent golden-yellow colours, a frothy white cap, good stay and thick foamy lacing. Fresh cereal malt aromas with some apples notes. A crisp mouthfeel with just enough dryness for the style - not sticking, nor syrupy like some - but not thin as well. Some good cereal grain in the taste with just a touch of hops. Quite a refreshing, easy-drinking Light Lager, but with some substance to it. Nicely done!

Barley malt and grass aroma. Golden yellow with giant white head. Moderately sweet creamy barley malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Good body.
