This beer was brewed in tribute to the late Giles Whitfield, a good friend and CAMRA volunteer who was a fan of golden ales, movies and traveling by train. Refreshing citrusy lemon and grapefruit flavours dominate initially, giving way to a bitter aftertaste.

7/2/2025. Cask at the 15th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours almost clear very pale gold with a small frothy just off-white head. Aroma is citrus, perfumed, lemon drop, grapefruit, flowers. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, touch tart. Moderate body, watery, soft carbonation. Very dry finish. Quite okay.
