The wonderful peeps at Ol’ B have been through a lot recently, so we wanted to slow things down, dial things back a notch. and brew a throwback beer with them to remind us why we got into this industry in the first place.

You see, six years ago, both Cabin and Ol‘ Beautiful were just getting started; two groups of beer-loving buddies diving headfirst into real life beer biz. So much has happened in six years, but one thing remains the same; we’re still here to make great beer, to share with friends, and create amazing memories.

Glory Days West Coast ISA (4.4%) is an easy-drinking, non-pretentious session IPA that’s light and aromatic and ready for everyday drinking. There are pithy citrus notes, with a dank, resinous glow. It’s balanced with a medium-bodied malt profile and is oh-so drinkable. Simple. Clean. Delicious.

There’ll always be ups and downs in this industry, but we hope one thing never changes; that we continue together as allies as we did in our formative years, and that great beer and friendship remains at the core of who we are, and what we do.

$1 from every four pack and 50c per litre from keg sales goes to Ol‘Beautiful staff to help them navigate the tricky aftermath of the fire that destroyed their taproom. Friends helping friends; it’s the craft beer way.

473ml can. Pours a clear pale gold with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves soapy lacing. Mild aroma of grainy wheat malt, lemon and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, grapefruit, cantaloupe and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty solid for an ISA.
