Whether it’s a luscious tonkotsu broth topped with eggs and pork, or an umami-rich miso base with nori, we’ve never had a bowl of ramen we didn’t enjoy.
If you really want to impress us, though, add a dash of zesty yuzu oil à la Tokyo's famous ramen shop, Afuri.
One taste of this combo can transport you to the backstreet izakayas of Tokyo, and we’ve set out to replicate this with the citrusy Yagi Pale Ale.
This beer was designed to pair with ramen.
Citra, Talus, Motueka and Riwaka are all known for delivering citrus flavours and we’ve added them by the bucketload. Bright dekopon is the dominant character, punching through from first sip to last, with a soft, mid-palate cannabis note from the Chinook rounding into a dry finish.

Pours gold, small white head.Nose shows floral hops, lychee, passion fruit, cookie dough-like malt.Flavours pretty much match the aroma, but less focus of the fruit. Body feels a bit watery.

Can. Just unclear pale amber with a white head. Aroma of tropical and berry bubblegum, some earth and grain keep it savoury. Fairly light bodied, highish carbonation. Moderately sweet and fruity with some (grainy?) spices at the modestly bitter end.
