Black Potion in een flink dikke Pastry Stout van 13,8% die je smaakpapillen versteld doen staan. Door het gebruik van gebrande mouten verkreeg niet bier zijn zwarte kleur. We hebben dit bier gebrouwen met pruimen en abrikozen, waarna we maple syrup en vanille hebben toegevoegd.

0.33 l can from the brewery's web shop, best before December 2027. Black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, light brown head. Intensely sweetish-malty, gently roasty, slightly fruity aroma of nougat, coffee, vanilla, plum, some hazelnut and a touch of maple syrup. Fairly sweet, malty, quite roasty, slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, roasted hazelnut, vanilla, some plum and light maple syrup, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Super sweet beer, fortunately quite roasty as well, not as fruity as expected but overall fairly tasty.
