Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours hazy dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of dark fruit, light sour, faint dark malt. Taste is sharp, sour, almost gooseberry and toffee. Abrupt finish.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Slightly murky brown. No head. Nose has earthy malts. Sour cherry. Some woody notes. Balsamic vinegar. Some light, chocolatey, coffee notes on the end. Taste is lightly tangy and sour. Some hint of sweet. Clean, drying palate. Lightly sour finish with more of the earthy malts on the close. Could fall into one of a number of categories. A little unusual, although very drinkable.

Dark, soured fruits. Sweetness in the finish. Awesome!
