Strong coffee nose. Pitch black, small frothy tan head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, black coffee, cocoa powder. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate. Sweetbitter finish, coffee lingers on, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Elegant chocolate stout, very nice.

Bottle(ca. 750ml): Very dark amber coloured, presumably hazy, bigger off-white creamy head, that slowly collapses; moderate sweetish-toasty nose with fresh herbal hops in the background and - it’s understood - well detectable traces of freshly ground coffee; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour with a slight acidity, medium bodied, silky MF; moderate sweet and bitter finish with toasty and distinctive coffeeish traces. A goody...

can from boxbeers.dk very dark brown, brown head hard roasted malts and a distinct coffee aroma. flavor is sweet roasted malty with notes of espresso and grinded coffee. end is very nicely coffee bitter. Very decent coffee stout, and the flavor is very intense, considering the ABV. This kind of intensity is usually find at higher ABV’s.
