3/VII/24 - 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent), shared @ home with Jan R., BB: 14/IX/24 ?:24:17 (2024-473)
Food pairing: mussels and fries. Pairing score: 8.5/10, enough bitterness to go against the fattiness of the fries, enough flavour to match the mussels (cooked with sauteed onion, celery, parsley and garlic).
Clear gold blond beer, big creamy white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: yeasty, ripe banana, some bubble gum, fruity, pretty floral as well, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a little sweet, hoppy, banana, yeast, gentle bitterness, a bit malty, nice! Aftertaste: more malty notes, grains, hay, some banana, not bad.
