Evel Knievel Imperial IPA is a daring West Coast-style brew that is ramped up with a thrilling burst of hoppiness, fruity aromas and perfectly balanced bitterness. Citra, Mosaic & Chinook hops take center stage, soaring through the flavor profile, while a vintage malt backdrop adds a touch of nostalgia. Cheers!

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours translucent gold with a moderate foamy white head. Citrus/pine aroma. Med body or better. Sort of a slick mouthfeel. There's enough malt to show, but it's fairly towards dry. Lots of hop, but somehow it's not bitingly bitter. Citrus/pine and white berry. Suddenly some dankness seems to appear. Strong ale!

A beer with Evel's name on it? Sign me up, I'm old enough to remember him. One pint can that came from my local beer shop, tab lifted and pouring into a really nice giveaway plastic cup, that's the wave tonight. An unclear, medium gold body with a proper head of icey white foam. Smells old school IPA, good by me. The drink, huh, really all right. Citrus, a touch of tropical, malt, hops, pineapple, cereal, pine and crackers. Sweet and bitter offset nicely. A full presentation, dense even. Destihl does some good things with their beers.

Orange, lime, biscuit malt, grapefruit peel and dank pine aroma. Golden yellow with large off-white head. Moderately sweet orange, lime, biscuit malt, and moderately strong dank pine and grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Only the great Evel Knievel could get me to drink a full can of IIPA.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Foggy golden pour, foamy white head settles fast. Piney, hoppy aroma with some zesty citrus notes. Taste brings forth some caramel malts, but they quickly succumb to the bitter, piney hops. Classic old school hoppiness with some lingering bitterness.
