From tap at Speciaalbier Café De Markies, Leeuwarden. Aroma is floral hops, soap, malt, candied orange, touch of caramel. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Rather soapy for an IPA, drinkable beer but not much to my liking.

On tap at De Markies. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, light floral, malts, not particularly hoppy. Flavour is yeasty, soapy, malty, light floral, hint of hops. Light bodied. Not very good, certainly far from an IPA.

gouden, helder met witte kraag. helaas is dit al een IPA niet al te vers meer, maar het hoppige, fruitige karakter zit er goed in, USA hops, fris, citrus, gras. Smaken van vrij veel co2, citrus, koriander, matig zoet, zwak tot matig bitter, vrij lange bittere afdronk, gras, stro, lichtzuur verder goede ipa, iets teveel co2. verder ok. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kroelebaai on 15 May 2018 at 14:41 - Score: 7
