No , this can is not from India, hehehh. Pours like any other clear pale lager but the big white head does not fade, its just goes craggy. First big swig is rather mild decent, somewhat enjoyable, macro style pale lager. Nose may carry a bit of hay in there, otherwise, the olfactory is just crisp and neutral. In the middle, I'm noticing that I wish it had more co2 sizzle, seems to be nearing the flat side. Not really sure if I'm picken out any basmati effects in the taste or nose. Really can't find any bitterness in this, its as if it was totally good noble hops. Towards the finish its going down pretty easy without complaint, just wish it had more carbonation sizzle. That would really add to the refreshment and affable quaff-ability.

Rice, biscuit malt and straw aroma. Pale yellow with large off-white head. Moderately sweet lemon, rice malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body.

Can from Rybrew: pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is some rice, sugary malts. Taste is sweetish. Could see it covering up hot food well. Otherwise, kind of stupid.

Can (6/22/22) pour from Total Wine and More, Burlington. It's a lightly hazy, pale, golden yellow with nice sparkle, ephemeral, fizzy, finger-width white head and no lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, corn, rice, straw, hint of fruit. Taste is grain forward with later corn and rice. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, while I didn't have this with Indian food, I can see how it would pair pretty well (as the can says). Not fantastic as a stand alone.

Brew at home. It says it was designed to pair with spicy Indian cuisine but didn’t have opportunity to try that out. Gold pour and slight cloudy. Nose is bread and light malt. Tatses of malt, caramel, sourdough. Crisp. Pretty enjoyable.
