Newish pale lager by Ermitage, still the best of these Brussels 'nouvelle vague' microbreweries for me, hopped with two Styrian variants grown in Slovenia apparently; can from - I think - Etre Gourmet, shared with tderoeck. Thick and creamy, snow white, frothy head on a hazy beige-hued pale yellow blonde robe. Aroma of field flowers, grass, unripe banana, something white-soapy, moderately sweet apple, young mugwort leaf. Crisp onset, restrainedly sweetish with some unripe banana and green pear, fizzily carbonated with minerally effects; smooth but also quite soapy body, white-bready but thinly so, sleek and cereally, under growing floral hoppiness, eventually even aromatically reminiscent of wormwood but remaining far less bitter. Ends dryish and minerally, well-rounded and pleasantly quenching. Decent attempt at what I guess tries to evoke an unfiltered Central European style Pilsener, easygoing and easy drinking. Somewhat more 'believable' as a true Lager than the Baron by Batteliek, made to a very similar concept, that we had before this one.

2/XI/24 - 33cl can @ home, BB: 15/IV/25 (2024-1167) Thanks to Alengrin for sharing the can!
Cloudy beige blond beer, big fluffy creamy white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, a bit oxidized, almonds, a little sweet impression, some marzipan. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: ok, nice clean malt bill up front, good bitterness, a bit grassy, floral touch, grains, decent. Aftertaste: good bitterness, more malts, a bit seet, but in the end still pretty dry in the finish, some overripe banana. Ok, not great.
