Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is sweet brown malt with caramel, dried fruits, and more caramel malt throughout. Sweet, bit sticky, but it's not a problem in combination with the above medium body. Some bitterness as well. Pleasant one to sip on, rich sweet malt.

Special delivery in times of corona by the brewery @home poured into a shaker. Clear copper colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted malt, raisins, molasses, caramel, brown sugar, spicy notes. Taste light heavy sweet and medium bitter, malty, toffee, alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbon ation, roasty and malty sweetbitter aftertaste, burnt caramel, alcohol, sturdy doppelbock with some rough edges, not so well-balanced, nice.

Bottle at home. Clear reddish brown with beige head. Raisins, dark caramel, sweet grapes, rye bread with syrup, sugar cane juice, raw cocoa, fresh figs, bitter spices. Over medium sweet but also quite bitter. Over medium bodied with slick feel. Pretty decent imho.

Small off-white head over dull amber beer, slightly hazy. Fruity and spicy nose, bit gassy. Faint molasses, fluid honey and the kind of fruit eaten as vegetables. Dry, leafy, and a bit burning; going over to quite sweet, syrupy and molasses-rich brew. Malts and adjuncts. Again a lot of fruity esters, "hot" fermentation. Not very well-bodied. Burning MF remains throughout; feels better carbonated than it looks. Bit lame and especially sweet. What puzzles me most is that this bottom-fermented Bock breaths esters and fusels.
