Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely but didn't leave much lace if any at all.
Aroma: milk chocolate, sweet coffee and gingerbread scents; slight vanilla further down in there
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-spicy (from the gingerbread) quality; finishes semi-spicy, a touch of dryness and a little bit of milk chocolate
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; some smoothness but also a tickle of ginger-y assertiveness
Overall: nice enough impy stout with the features Prairie are there. I'd return to this one.

Poured from 355mL can (pkg 09/26/24). Black with small light beige head. Mild gingerbread and vanilla, touch of coffee, a bit thin. Average.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with little retention recedes to pool surface. Gingerbread and chocolate aromas. Thin and dry with sweet ginger, vanilla and hot molasses upfront turning soft in the earthy medium length chocolate finish.

12 oz can poured, picked up at Special Brews. Dark, coffee brown pour. Plenty of head that slowly fades. Nice winter time pasty stout with some holiday like spices. Chocolate, coffee, vanilla nose, with a soft cinnamon like spice, some gingerbread mostly from knowing it's there. Flavor matches closely. Not boozy, and no single layered adjunct seems overpowering. Quality stout for a low price.

Ginger, coffee, vanilla, chocolat malt and hay aroma. Black with small brown head. Moderately sweet ginger, vanilla, coffee, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay and ash flavor. Nice body and balance.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a fairly thick deep brown to black with a finger of tan head that lingers, then dissipates. Lovely gingerbread aromas on the nose with vanilla cream, coffee and chocolate as it warms. Palate is similar with gingerbread really dominating. Some vanilla and warming alcohol on the finish with lingering gingerbread spicy notes. As advertised!
