Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Saturday. Very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma and Taste of cognac, dark malt, dark fruits, some vinegar.

Draught Black beer without a head. Lots of brandy in the nose, black husks, bit vinous. Sweet & liquorice, leathersoap, Bretts? Not really heave, if full bodied enough. Alcoholburn, lipsmacking acidity. Dangerous, high drinkability.

Tap at Billies. Dark brown, no head. Quite some roast, blackberries, brandy, more sour berries, tobacco, alcohol. Medium sweet and sour, light bitter. Decent but in small amounts please.
