A Kaiju-sized addition to the One Big Hoppy Family Variety 12pk!
Heavy whirlpool and dry hop additions of Strata and Krush with copious amounts of whole leaf Citra, Mosaic, and Sultana give this IPA huge citrus zest, orange, mixed berry, tropical juicy flavors and aromas with a soft grapefruit bitterness. Canned 4/30/26, drunk 6/15/26.
Wow the new age hops really lend a whole different character to this. Not a traditional WC in the least, even with the obvious bit of medium malt the color shows. There's still pine but there's a juicier pineapple and bright berry, neither of which is twangy or too acidic. And whatever specialty malt is in here, it doesn't lend any real toast or caramel.
Bright and with light pine resin in the background but the hops, as in the nose, softening and juicifying things to some degree. There's just an ever so slight pinch of caramel, with ample malts and good depth, dryness and overall balance. Lingering guava, melon, berry, papaya....they're doing good work at Fat Head's.

This beer is pours a clear golden-orange color with a medium frothy bone white head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of resiny hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a dank and resiny hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can from Total Wine. Pours a mostly clear deep gold with a finger of off-white head that lingers. Big aromas of dank pineapple, grapefruit and pine on the nose. Palate is similar with a nice mix of tropical fruit bouquet, fresh squeezed citrus, pith and pine. Lingering pine on the finish. Great stuff!
