On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. A dark brown beer topped by a small beige head. The aroma has roasted and lightly burnt malts, with some dark chocolate and coffee. Some alcohol and booze too. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, nicely carbonated and with some bitterness. Roasted malts, some dark chocolate, burnt malts and a touch of coffee in the flavor, along with some bourbon and wood. Medium length finish. Not the most complex beer I've had, but it's nice anyway. 240802

From tap at Minimø, Mini-Molde-ølfestival, 11.10.24. Black. Brown head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of roasted malt, coffee, tobacco, liquorice and tobacco, bitter pine and bitter grapefruit. Lingerig aftertaste. Good.

Solid evening sipper this one. Dark moon rinsing and a tan cloud on top. Ok intensity in the aroma. Balanced sweetness and a fine carbonation level. Dark malt, fruity, chocolate, nutty and (thank god) mild bourbon in the flavor. [Can from Vinmonopolet at Amfi Borg in Sarpsborg, Norway]

440ml can, B#2568, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Tan head diminishing over a jet black body, fragile lacing. Roasted toast on the nose. added by a scent of dark bread and chocolate. Slightly unbalanced taste of grainy chocolate, liquorice, and a backdrop of coffee overrun by wood and bourbon towards a roasted ending. Still a decent sipper on a Sunday afternoon. Delt med Håvard på Lillehøgda. Svart. Middels høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Blir film. Aroma av søt whisky & kaffe. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken kakao, nøtter & tørket frukt. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning.
