Bottle at RBESG 09 Sheffield. Dark brown colour. Some choc in this, but like the H2CN, I could detect this almost plastic aroma and flavour. Perhaps it was just me.

Draught@YNWA, Kolding. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, dark dry fruits and also some mild roasted malts and chocolate. Flavour is quite much the same. Rather strange, first I thought it was a quite roast free stout or porter, but René told me it’s a black IPA.

On tap at You’ll Never Walk Alone. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops with a hint of biscuit and toffee. Dry and hoppy flavour, lots of lemon and grapefruit peel, with just a touch of biscuit. There is something like a lemon acidity from the hops that give this beer quite a homebrewed feel.

Bottle, thx to thewolf. It pours a clear, reddish brown body and a decent beige head. The aroma is roasted, with some dried fruits, and a fluorine-like hoppyness. Slightly roasted flavor with resiny and ctrusy hops giving a nice bitterness. Full-bodied and a bit warming. The finish has a resiny flavor with the bitterness, and lasts for a while. It feels a bit unbalanced, but it’s a nice one. (090515)
