Tap at Billies. Almost clear golden. Dank wet hops, bitter green leafy hops, dry malts, bread crust, resin. Medium sweet and quite bitter. Nice one.

Pours a slightly hazy deep/dark golden with amber hints. A couple of fingers of rather dense white head that shows quite good retention and very nice lacing. A fresh, quite vivid aroma shows an interesting hop profile: fruity notes of mango and grapefruit with lighter citric hints, a floral touch, a light background of green that stands in between grassy and resinous. Feels fresh as mentioned but also kind of soft. The same feeling can be found in the taste; a very neutral malty base with the slighest crackery-like feel, hop notes as per aroma though a bit less clean/polished. Good sweet/bitter balance in both taste and aftertaste with none standing out. Light to medium bodied, perhaps a bit heavier than expected for the abv, with average fine bubbled carbonation, giving it a lightly soft feeling that doesn't take away from drinkability. True to it's name indeed; an interesting and well made hoppy pale.
