Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light hoppy, citrus - orange, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100123]

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden - amber?? - with a small rough off-white head. Odd unclean buttery aroma. Medium body with sweet fruit and a citrusy touch and perhaps a little honey. Discreet bitterness. 230110

Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, 03-07-09 Pours gold with a thin white head. Some malt on nose but little else, taste is refreshing with nice bitterness that trundles on throughout, touch of ginger in mouth, and little fruity. It’s an enjoyable beer, served in very good nick btw. A7 A5 F7 P4 Ov14 3.7

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol, 20/4/08. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of fruit and caramel followed by much the same flavours and a short, bitter finish. Not much stood out.
