Bottled (BB 06/2009)
Slightly hazy orange color, very small white head. Honeyish, leafy hoppy - very English nose. Foamy mouthfeel. Crisp honeyish hoppy, a bit dry woody finish. Very English Golden ale.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Gold with a loose brilliant white head; floral hop aroma with some unlying graininess; lively and chewy in the mouth with some dryness but also an earthy vegetable sweetness - parsnip beer anyone? - and a lightly hopped bitter finish. Rather drinkable.

Inoffensiveness in a glass. Bottle from Sainsburys. Gold with a thin white head. Light floral hop aroma with a touch of corn. Flavour was sweetish, with some more slightly grassy hops and a dryish finish.

Bottle Sainsburys, Heyford Hill, Oxford Pours light amber, some light bitterness and hops, dryness at front of mouth, really drinkable. Nice quite earthy hops detected, yes I quite like this.
