Das Standardbier des Zillertals, das man fast überall findet. Es ist ein klassisches Märzen österreichischen Types, also ein bayrisches Helles. MIttelmäßig süffig und angenehm zu trinken. Ein einfaches und gemütliches Bier.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized frothy head. Mildly malty and sulfuric and grassy aroma, green-glass bottle character. Moderately sweet and discreetly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly crisp carbonation. Plain malty base with strawy notes and sulphur, shades of grass in the background; rather slim and moderately sweet, restrained bitter hoppy finish. Less than decent Helles/Lager. 18.VIII.16

Pours clear gold from the bottle. The creamy white head soon fades. Aroma is buttery, musty, lightly grainy. Taste is buttery, a little rancid, yuck. The light floral notes and the solid, lightly sweet malt base fail to save this one. It finishes with virtually no bitterness, and trends watery near the end. Not something I would care to drink again.
