Under the scorching August sun, the Μykonians of yore ceremoniously picked the fruit of the cactus, the prickly pear. Patiently, they plucked the thorns off the fragosiko (and off their fingers too) and then tasted the sweet, tangy juices that embody Aegean summer. Aspiring to those old-time giants, we carefully picked these prickly, juice grenades and added them in a brew, creating a refreshing and effervescent pale ale to glorify this wonder of native flora. Smell it, taste it, indulge in it. Be the fragos’ko. Be the thorns, the wind, the sun.
