Cask at St Andrews Brewhouse in Norwich city centre, opposite the church. Dark amber with a frothy-bubbly head. Hoppy-malty, although a little more of the former, and deeper tasting than expected for a sub four brew.

Mørk gylden. Filmskum. Klar. Veldig lett karamellaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken nøtter & karamell. Søtlig tørr bitter avslutning.

Cask (handpump) @ St. Andrews Brewhouse, 41 St. Andrews Street, Norwich, Norfolk England NR2 4TP. [ As St. Andrew’s Wensum Ale ].ABV: 3.6%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, nutty, light toasted - caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malt, mesk, bread. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150803] 5-2-6-3-11

Clear deep golden color with an off white layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Decent balance between sweetness and bitterness. Caramel malty, fruity and some herbal notes. Decent English bitter.

Cask ale at the brewhouse in Norwich. Shared with friends. Clear golden-brown body. Filmy layer. Mild aroma of grainy fruits. Subdued taste character of toffee and citrus notes. Short malt-fruity ending. Beyond par for the style (18.02.2017).

Cask at St Andrews Brew House, Norwich, 16/02/17. Golden amber with a decent off White head. Nose is toasted grains, light fruit esters, straw, hedgerow. Taste comprises light caramel notes, bread dough, grains, light cities peel, grassy vibes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light drying close. Average fayre at best.
